Mount appearance slot!
Now I can ride my Kunark rhino, but look like I'm riding my elegant unicorn. I won't do this of course becuase the awkward run of my rhino is too much fun to watch, but it's nice that I could look elegant if I wanted to.
Also, freeing up some space in the bank for all those mounts!
I found these tidbit's at EQTraders from Niami Denmother, if you want to full details.
Mum's Mini Mount Manual
- Locate all those whistles, drums and other mount summoners in your bags
- With the container(s) they are in open, click on the Mount tab on
your character screen. (This will hide your closed bags on you, which
is why I told you to open the ones holding mounts. ;D)
- Drag and drop all the mounts into the empty area in the upper left
part of the mounts window. (Don't worry, you can easily remove mounts
from here if you want to sell them, turn them into house items, etc.
However, while they're stored here, they're not taking up inventory
space.)
- Locate the mount you want to actually use and drag it down to the Equipped box
- Locate any mount you want to use for appearance and drag it to the appearance tab
- If you have a hotbar button for your default mount, you might want
to replace it with the Summon Mount ability. You can find it as the
saddle icon in both your Knowledge Book and your Mount tab. Then you
can switch active mounts in the mount tab, and not have to replace the
hotbar button every time you upgrade mounts
- If you've selected an appearance mount, you may need to dismiss and
resummon your equipped mount in order to get the appearance to take
effect the first time
- Any new mount that you obtain will automagically drop into this new mount storage area
- Achievements will be earned, based on the number of mounts you have
stored there, with the first currently being Stablehand for 5 mounts

Yeah, mounts don't need to be carried in bags or take up banking space!
Also, things like shards, marks, and city tokens will get a place to be stored outside bags & bank space.
From EQ2 Traders:
A new currency tab is also being added to the character window. It
will store all those fun event tokens and such that eat up space for us
packrats. So far, I've personally found that it can store:
- Void shards
- mark of manaar
- city token
- elemental token
- far seas trading company token
- floret of growth
- erolissi coin
- quellithulian token of appreciation

Those are some nice changes, especially with limited bag/bank space.
I did see the upcoming 7 year veteran reward the other day. That looks very special.

ooh Yes.. Token slots os very cool as well.. but, I really hope they carry it through to the bank as well as characters. I tend to have all my characters deposit their various tokens into shared bank strage so that I accumulate one tally to be shared amongst my tribe as required.
Now I have to go look up this 7 year reward!
I need to know how much I have to bite my lip for the few months extra it takes me to get it! Despite starting in first few days of the original Go Live Release, I skipped the Faydwer and TSO expansions so never got the bonus days on those.

The 7 year vet award is spiffy enough to even satisfy dark elves like Denat.
